No, there are no monthly fees or additional charges for using the AOSU security system's core features. The optional cloud storage service does incur a subscription fee, but it is not mandatory. The battery-powered cameras do not support 24/7 continuous recording, but the Homebase's 32GB local storage enables loop recording for up to 60 days with 4 cameras. The Homebase is compatible with both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks, and the solar panel can charge the cameras after just 2 hours of direct sunlight. While the Homebase currently only supports up to 4 cameras of the same model, it is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, with Apple HomeKit support still in development.
